Welcome to
Casa Ganima
ROOM TO GATHER. SPACE TO UNWIND.
Casa Ganima is a private 6-bedroom villa a 5-minute walk from the north end of Playa Grande, a protected beach on Costa Rica’s Guanacaste coast. The beach sits inside Las Baulas National Marine Park, where development is restricted, so it stays quiet: a long stretch of sand, consistent surf and sunsets over the Pacific. The house sleeps 14, with an 11-meter saltwater pool, an outdoor kitchen and room for the whole group, and Tamarindo is a short drive away when you want restaurants and nightlife.
More Than a Vacation Home

WORLD-CLASS BEACH
No car and no parking. Walk out with towels and boards and you’re on the sand in less than five minutes, and more often than not, you’ll find this world-class beach is remarkably empty, with plenty of space for you and your guests to enjoy without crowds. Playa Grande is one of Guanacaste’s best-known surf breaks, and lessons and board rentals are available locally. Come back for lunch in the shade of the outdoor kitchen and an afternoon in the pool.

A PROTECTED COAST
Las Baulas National Marine Park protects the beach, the Tamarindo estuary and its mangroves. From October to May, leatherback turtles come ashore to nest, and the beach closes at night to protect them; ranger-led tours are the way to see one. By day you share the coast with howler monkeys, coatis and shorebirds, and the estuary is a short paddle or boat ride from Tamarindo.

ELEVATED COMFORT
Inside, terracotta floors, Moroccan tile bathrooms and art from Costa Rican artisans. Outside, a bocce court, an open-air games room and upper decks over the pool. Six bedrooms sleep 14, four of them en-suite, each with air conditioning and blackout curtains. It’s the comfort of a luxury villa, with the beach close enough to walk to before breakfast.
